Start by assessing what “the look” means to you. Is “the look” something that requires a cool jacket, like a harrington jacket? Or is it something that doesn’t require a jacket? Take some time to consider what look you want to achieve and how you want to achieve it. Look into your wardrobe to find any clothes that go well with the look.
After you’ve decided on the clothes basis of “the look” try to find the style and colour you want to use. Pick a style that helps show off your best features. For example, if you have a if you have a good shape, you might want to highlight that with well-fitted clothes that show it off nicely. Pick colours that highlight your skin tone, eye colour and hair colour.
Pick several different pieces of clothing for each aspect of “the look.” Lay them on your bed and mix and match different pieces of clothing for each area. Place a cool shirt next to different trousers to see how well they work together. Pick your perfect outfit to help finish the look.
Hold on: you’re not quite finished. Now you gotto pick accessories. Choose a minimum amount of accessories to tastefully highlight your look. A watch, some comfortable gloves and a cool hat may be all you need. However, if you are wanting an “over the top” look, consider wearing an excessive amount of accessories.
